Who we are
CanadaPetPicks.ca is an independent Canadian pet supply review site built to fill a gap we noticed — virtually no dedicated resource existed to help Canadian pet owners make informed buying decisions with Canadian pricing, Canadian retailer availability, and Canadian-made products in mind.
What We Do
We research, aggregate reviews from multiple trusted sources, and publish honest assessments of the pet food, toys, accessories, and supplies available to Canadians. We are not a pet store, and we don’t manufacture or sell products directly.
How Our Reviews Work
Our reviews are built by researching existing consumer feedback, expert nutritional analysis, and publicly available data rather than hands-on testing of every product we cover. We think that’s an important thing to be upfront about.
How We Make Money
Many of the product links on this site are affiliate links, meaning we earn a small commission if you purchase through them — at no extra cost to you. That revenue is what keeps the site running. We may also feature sponsored placements and dropship arrangements with select Canadian brands. All commercial relationships are clearly disclosed.
Our Promise
We are based in Canada, we write specifically for Canadian pet owners, and our goal is straightforward — to be the most useful, transparent, and Canada-focused pet supply resource on the internet. We are a small operation, not a media company, and we believe honesty about what we are is the foundation of any trust worth having.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Embedded content from other websites
Suggested text: Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
